![]() -25 POINTS - (Klondike only) Most rule books stipulate that only one pass through the deck is allowed, turning up one card at a time.Doing so will incur a 5 point penalty for each infraction. -5 POINTS - The rules do not permit moving cards from the foundations back into play in the Tableau. ![]() Klondike permits you to make some moves which are not allowed according to most rule books, but you pay a penalty for these moves as follows: -2 POINTS - Every 15 seconds of elapsed time, while the Game Window is active.10 POINTS - Adding a card to the foundations, whether from the deck, reserve or tableau.5 POINTS - Adding a card to the tableau, either by playing one from the deck or reserve or by turning over the top card of an uncovered column.Note: figures for Canfield and Racing Demons are in brackets. For Klondike, Canfield and Racing Demons: Regular scoring is more like a video game, including a penalty for slow play. Klondike maintains separate score history for regular scoring and Casino scoring versions of each game. If you check the Casino scoring box in the Preferences dialog, the game is scored according to the common wagering scheme: You "pay" $52 to begin play, and you "win" various amounts according to the game you are playing. The list of top scores for each type of Solitaire game can be displayed by selecting Score History from the Window menu.
